Janet Edwards

Since 1997 Janet has performed her one woman song/piano shows extensively throughout the UK and on two world cruises. She plays and sings her own songs as well as those of the finest 20th/21st century songwriters. In her specialised voice coaching she works with recording and West End artists.

Associate of the Royal College of Music (ARCM), Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL),

Diploma in Education, Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).

Janet is also a composer, arranger and musical director. Trained as a classical pianist, singer and violinist, as a young child she was surrounded with sheet music which ranged from the popular musical to classical and opera. Aged 13 she was church organist and then studied under Michael Kruszynski, the Polish concert pianist.

Her love of jazz, theatre and popular music show in her performances of Rhapsody in Blue and other Gershwin songs and piano music which have become paramount in her professional work.

Musical Director: Sondheim Royal Gala Performance at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, opera concerts and stage plays. Piano Soloist: she performed extensively throughout Europe including London's Wigmore Hall, the South Bank, Barbican, the Alabama Halle and Amerika Haus in Munich.

Piano Accompanist: she has toured the U.K. and Europe with international soloists of the Royal Opera House and E.N.O., including tours to Italy, France and Germany with the soprano Julia Migenes. She also accompanied many musical theatre artists at West End Gala performances.

Musical Director: she has performed at a Royal Gala performance at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, in opera quartet concerts and stage plays.
